What is RCTC?

The Rainbow Centre Training & Consultancy (previously known as PRiEP) is the training arm of Rainbow Centre derived from the philosophy and culture of enskilling and empowerment in the area of special needs. Our training and consultancy model stems from the years of Special Education expertise offered through the variety of programmes under Rainbow Centre.

The children who go there :

• Children below 6 years old with intellectual disability, physical disability or multiple disabilities
• Children between the ages of 6 years and 18 years with more than one disability
• Children between the ages of 2 years and 12 years with autism spectrum disorder

Our Volunteers Services

The volunteers and staff of Rainbow Centre work hand in hand as a team to enhance the quality of services provided by Rainbow Centre. The Volunteers Programme is coordinated at the respective schools.

We have about 100 regular volunteers comprising professionals and non-professionals.

Professionals include members on the Executive Committee of Rainbow Centre and the School Management Committee, ENT surgeons, ophthalmologists and orthoptists, dentists, and an orthopaedic surgeon.

Non-professional volunteers assist teachers and therapists in the class and therapy sessions in our EIPIC and schools on a regular basis

We have volunteers from mainstream schools and the polytechnics.
